We are planning to make a Group collection of unwanted foreign currency so that we can make a donation to King's Lynn Samaritans to support their cause this ChristmasPlease hunt around your homes and offices for any unwanted foreign currency - notes or coins. It doesn't matter if the currency is not in circulation any more. There will be collection points at each Church in the group. If you cannot get to one of the churches, please let Jayne Windsor know Jayne.windsor@yahoo.co.uk and she will arrange for your donation to be collected.
Your unwanted currency can be turned into hard cash for this very helpful cause. It costs £51,000 a year to run the King's Lynn branch of Samaritans and there is no government or central office aid, and no paid staff. Despite this last year they dealt with over 15,000 contacts from people who are desperate, in despair and sometimes, close to suicide.
